The other day I watched the kids while Karrie went to buy food for Ryan's backpacking trip. This is how she looked when I went in to pick her up after Ed woke her up from her nap.
I think it's the flash from the camera that makes her look "surprised."

I can't stop laughing and ooh-ing and ah-ing. She's a doll.
That's funny! It's the orange light that goes on before the flash-she's been conditioned to it. If I use the camera without the flash, she looks much more relaxed and a bit more natural. However, the deer in the headlights look is great!
